Firewood Ministry: Serving Our Community Together
August 28, 2029 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
An Opportunity to Serve
Join us at Sisters Community Church every Tuesday at 10 a.m. for our Firewood Ministry, a weekly opportunity to serve shoulder to shoulder with others in meeting the critical needs of our community. Together, we cut and stack firewood to help heat the homes of the poor and elderly during the cold winter months.

This ministry is part of our broader cold weather shelter efforts, and it brings people of all ages—ranging from 22 to 72—together in a spirit of service and compassion. Whether you’re skilled with a chainsaw or new to serving in this way, there’s a place for you here.
When: Every Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Where: Sisters Community Church Parking Lot
Purpose: Providing heating assistance to local vulnerable communities, including the elderly and low-income families in need.
Let’s work together to make a real difference. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few! Who’s with us?
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. – Mark 10:45
